Our Story
How they met…
Krupa and Michael knew each other for about one year before their first date.
Although they work for the same company, they are in different departments; Krupa in
Pharmacy and Michael in Optometry. In passing, they would happily and curiously say
“hello,” nervously initiating small talk at times, but nothing more. It was through a
mutual friend, a colleague, that they were introduced formally. Later, of course they
shared how much they both wanted their conversations to last much longer.
When Krupa and Michael knew they were meant to be…
One weekend, the same colleague that introduced the couple was headed to
Atlantic City for her weekend birthday celebration. She invited both Krupa and Michael
to join her for some casino fun Saturday and Sunday. To avoid the couple driving the 3-hour journey alone, it was suggested they ride together. Needless to say, there was some
hesitation involved, but being the gentleman that he is, Michael assured Krupa all would be fine. Michael picked Krupa up from home, and they began their road trip together. In
those few hours, the couple talked non-stop, they enjoyed some great music that led to
the discovery of their love for dance.
When the opportunity presented itself, Michael asked Krupa to dance. Again,
proving to be the perfect gentleman and a romantic on the dance floor. Krupa and
Michael shared a magical fun filled evening on the dance floor in Atlantic City.
The celebration ended, and the drive home began. Following another exciting,
enlightening, and short 3-hour drive to Krupa’s house Michael took the plunge and asked
Krupa out to dinner. Initially, Krupa thought she should play hard to get. Make him wait
a few days, but they both knew something special was happening between them. They
shared an unexpected connection neither of them had ever experienced before. They
went on their first date the next day.
What beganas a 3-hour journey together has evolved into their lifetime journey together.
